NewsOnWheels.com has more car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, RV, boat, ATV, tractor and rig, and automotive accessory advertisements in Louisiana and Mississippi than any other website or print publication.  We bring together a network of publications and websites that spans much of the Southeast that includes both websites and print publications.  Private parties, franchise & independent car dealers and businesses all advertise with us.  In order to assist you in finding the vehicle that you are looking for, we have searches by year, make, and model for cars, and keywords for everything else.

The vehicle pricing from auto dealers’ does not include tax, title & registration, where it’s applicable.  Also, advertised payments are based on Tier 1 Credit.

Our advertisers, both private party and commercial, come from all over the regions of Louisiana and Mississippi.  Our coverage includes the greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Biloxi areas with a combined circulation of over 5,000 weekly.   NewsOnWheels.com and its related magazines are the industry leaders in connecting buyers and sellers with our vast array of effective classified ads. 

When browsing the ads in any category, you can supply your zip code and sort the ads based on the distance from your location.

NO - NewsOnWheels.com and its network of magazines are online and print advertising media, which bring together buyers and sellers. NewsOnWheels.com and its magazine network do not own or sell anything that is advertised.

Placing An Ad

·         What types of ads are available on NewsOnWheels.com?

Classified ads are available to private parties only.  All ads will run for the number of weeks specified when placing an ad. 

All All ads are subject to approval by NewsOnWheels.com and may be rejected at their discretion.

• How long will my ad run?

Classified ads appear online and in the printed publication for at least one week (depending on the option chosen).

·         What is the deadline to place my ad online?

All ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on NewsOnWheels.com within 24 hours.  Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear on NewsOnWheels.com no later than Monday noon.

Ads placed online by the Thursday at 12:00 p.m. noon will appear in that week’s issue of the printed publication. 

• Why do the online categories differ from the print categories?

The website categories allow easier browsing for the user in a website environment with different category navigation and the ability to search.  Our print publications have more categories to fit the parameters of a reader-friendly advertising publication.  Every item in our network of magazines will appear online on NewsOnWheels.com.  Likewise, items advertised on NewsOnWheels.com will appear in one or more of the network of print publications depending on the advertising package selected. 

·         How much do ads cost?

The price of ad packages depends upon the length of time the ad will run, the number of publications it will appear in, and other features. To view ad options, please go to Submit an Ad.

All ads will appear on NewsOnWheels.com and in print for one week.

·         When does my ad go “live” online?

All ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on NewsOnWheels.com within 24 hours.  Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear on NewsOnWheels.com no later than Monday noon.

Ads placed online by Thursday at 12:00 p.m. noon will appear in that week’s issues of the magazines. 

·         Will my online ad run in the magazines?

YES - To gain the most exposure for your ad, all ads placed online will run in our network of print magazines, depending on the ad package selected.

·         How do I renew my ad?

Any ad placed online may be renewed by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

·         Will you remind me to renew my ad?

YES – We will remind you to renew your ad at least 72 hours before your ad expires online.  If you provided your email address when placing your ad you will receive email renewal reminders before your ads expire.

·         How do I change or cancel my ad?

Any ad placed online may be modified or cancelled by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

Changes and cancellations made between Monday and Friday noon will be effective online within 24 hours.  Changes and cancellations made after Friday noon will be effective no later than Monday noon.  Changes and cancellations made by the deadlines listed above will appear in that week’s issue of the print publications. Refunds will not be given once an ad appears online.

·         Do you guarantee that my ad will be successful?

Although we strongly believe NewsOnWheels.com, and our magazine network offer the best advertising value in Louisiana and Mississippi, we cannot guarantee results.

·         What types of payment do you accept? 

We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover for ads placed online.

·         Is my credit card information secure?

Using your credit card at NewsOnWheels.com is completely safe.  We use an advanced encryption technology that safeguards your personal information and ensures your privacy as it travels over the internet.  We also maintain a certificate with Thawte that serves as an electronic substitute for your signature.

·         What is your refund policy?

We are not responsible for errors made by customers. If you make an error in an ad placed online, you may correct or modify your ad by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.  Likewise, you may cancel any ad placed online by going to My Ads in My Account.

We do not issue refunds for ads that have appeared on our website.  If we make a material error in your ad, we will give you a credit toward the purchase of future advertising.

·         What is the best way to photograph my vehicle or item(s) for sale?

If possible, please use a digital camera to get the best quality photos for both online and print.  The file must be in a jpeg format.  A plain background such as trees or a wall will work best.  Photos taken with film may be scanned and uploaded, but the online photo quality may not be as good as digital photos.  Please do not stand too close to the item that you are shooting.  

If you are photographing a vehicle, the best shot of your vehicle is a simple 3/4 shot taken with a digital camera.  See the examples below:

·         What if I do not have a digital camera or a scanner?

If you are unable to upload a photo of your vehicle to NewsOnWheels.com, we offer two options. 

(1)   You can come to one of our two offices or photo centers and either bring a jpeg file of the picture or a high quality print of the vehicle picture.

(2)     If you are unable to come to our office, please phone us at 225-928-5253 or 1-800-527-6092 for more options and information.

·         Do I have to register to place an ad on NewsOnWheels.com? 

YES - We need to be able to communicate with you if you are placing an ad on NewsOnWheels.com.  Registration is quick, easy and free.  Registered members have access to several advanced features:
